Soil Investigation Eastern Ltd specializes in borehole drilling services, particularly for new build and extension work. We use 100mm mechanical Continuous Flight Auger rigs where the depths achieved are up to 15 metres. Hand augured boreholes achieve depths of up to a maximum of 6 metres to provide you with soil reports and ground testing services. The drilling team are highly trained in the use of our drilling equipment. We will run several checks on the site before drilling. We drill the boreholes at 1-metre intervals, taking disturbed soil samples and providing in-situ Shear Vane and / or Mackintosh Probe Penetration testing. We provide a factual report with site plan and borehole logs.

Specialising in restricted access on-site, our rig will fit through most sized gates, through houses and into basements (subject to a minimum width), please contact us for more information.

Our team will take the highest level of care while working on your site, leaving the working area tidy and reinstating any hard-surfaced areas.
